The renovation of Greenwood Park in Petrolia, ON was lead by a citizen group
called Parents for Parks, made up of four local women dedicated to providing the town with an accessible playground that children of all ages and abilities could
play on.
For over three years, Parents for Parks worked tirelessly to fundraise for the renovation of this playground which now includes a ramped playstructure, an accessible spinner, a climbing rope structure and rubber surfacing.
