ALUMINUM POSTS, POST CAPS & CLAMPS
Landscape Structures PlayBooster® and PlayShaper® aluminum posts along with the playsystems’ stainless steel fasteners, clamps, beams and caps carry a 100-year limited warranty against structural failure due to corrosion/natural deterioration or manufacturing defects.
TENDERTUFF™ COATING
Landscape Structures exclusive TenderTuff™ coating acts as a temperature moderator, insulating little hands from heat and cold, and providing a softer, grippier surface. TenderTuff meets all safety standards and complies with Public Law No. 110-314, Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008. Additionally, a 15-year limited warranty is offered on TenderTuff coatings (except Wiggle Ladders, Chain Ladders and Swing Chain) against structural failure due to material or manufacturing defects.
STAINLESS STEEL HARDWARE
All bolts, flange nuts and screws are stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance, longevity and durability. Plus, since Landscape Structures hardware doesn’t rust, your playground will look more aesthetically pleasing for years to come.
STEEL-REINFORCED CABLES
Steel-reinforced cables are made of tightly woven, polyester-wrapped, six-stranded galvanized-steel cable. These abrasion-resistant, color-stable cables are extremely durable and vandal resistant.
ANODIZED ALUMINUM
Textured, anodized aluminum offers a rust-free surface that refracts sunlight for a comfortable climb all summer long and is virtually maintenance free.
BAMBOO
This engineered, laminated natural material adds texture and a warm aesthetic. Regular refinishing
is required.
GALVANIZED STEEL
Landscape Structures uses galvanized steel for maximum durability, all of which is ProShield® finished for optimum corrosion resistance, UV stability and gloss retention.
GLASS FIBER REINFORCED CONCRETE (GFRC)
GFRC is the tough-as-nails material used to create natural rock or wood climbers. Its rugged, rock-like texture never feels artificial, and it hardens over time to deliver years of reliable fun in any environment.
GRIPX
GripX is a UV stabilized HDPE (high-density polyethylene), marine-grade material that’s specially designed with slip resistant texture to enhance traction and appearance.
HOT DIP GALVANIZED STEEL
Landscape Structures Hot Dip Galvanized Steel is created by completely dipping steel into a bath of molten zinc, is highly resistant to corrosion and creates a unique look for playground designs.
PERMALENE® MATERIAL
Recycled Permalene® panels are used for a variety of components, and are 73% post-consumer material, and the distinctive black core is the result of combining and recycling colored plastic household containers.
PROGUARD™ FINISH
ProGuard™ is a super-resistant finish applied standard to all Landscape Structures swing chain making them two times more corrosion resistant than galvanized steel chain.
PROSHIELD® FINISH
ProShield® finish combines a specially formulated primer with a high-quality, architectural-grade powdercoat topcoat for enhanced longevity, greater protection against UV rays, prevention from corrosion and improved product performance.
RECYCLED PLASTIC LUMBER
Landscape Structures Recycled Plastic Lumber is created from 100% recycled high-density UV-stabilized polyethylene material to prevent warping in direct sun.
ROTATIONALLY-MOLDED POLYETHYLENE
The heavy-duty rotationally molded polyethylene material ensures strength and durability while resisting cracking, fading and peeling.
SHADE FABRIC
SkyWays® shade fabric is designed to block up to 97% of the sun’s UV rays and keep playground temperatures up to 30-degrees cooler.
STEELX®
Vandal-resistant SteelX® is made of 14-gauge steel, galvanized and given a ProShield® finish to deliver protection against weather, corrosion and fire.
TEXTURED-POLYESTER RESIN
Low-density, UV-stable polyester resin is used to create durable, easy-to-grasp handgrips and footholds. They’re large enough to ensure secure grips so it feels just like the climbing gym.
